The Company
An IT services and consulting company based in Brisbane, QLD, founded in 2016, specializing in software engineering, consulting, distribution, and promotion. They help governments, organizations, and startups build, modernize, and improve custom software solutions across desktop, web, cloud, and mobile platforms.
The Role
The Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of company's property compliance and reporting platform. The role ensures that the company's software products are robust, scalable, and compliant with Queensland regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end-to-end software solutions for automated reporting and compliance checks.
- Work across front-end, back-end, and data layers to deliver functional and efficient systems.
- Build and maintain integrations with government and third-party data sources.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, reviews, and adherence to development standards.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution in production environments.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain security, privacy, and regulatory compliance in all systems.
Key Relationships
- Internal: R&D Manager (Technology & Product Development), developers, product manager, compliance officer.
- External: Technology vendors, government data providers, compliance partners.
Essential:
- Proficiency in React modern front-end framework
- Experience with C#/.NET back-end technologies
- Strong database skills (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with APIs including REST and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, or similar).
- Version control and CI/CD practices.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Desirable:
- Experience in property tech, compliance, or reporting systems.
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, or similar).
- Authentication/authorization (OAuth, SSO).
- Startup or small-company experience.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PH Time.
Location
- Home-based ; Equipment is provided.
- Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
