Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines MGEN RENEWABLE ENERGY, INC. Full time ₱900,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and alphalist (ARF, EWT, FWT, WVAT, FBT, VAT and ITR) using schedules provided by GL and AP accountants for review and approval of Tax Head and/or Controller.
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of tax returns vs accounting records and coordinate discrepancies noted with financial accountants.
  • Responsible for coordinating with treasury department on e-payment or manual check preparation of taxed and ensure that taxes are paid on time.
  • Handles submission of annual information returns and related alphalists.
  • Handles annual submission of computerized books of accounts and other accounting records to the BIR.
  • Handles annual renewal of business permit and gross receipts declaration for purposes of Local Business Tax (LBT) payment.
  • Prepare Tax Verification Sheet as needed for transactions with foreign vendors.
  • Complete the necessary documentation and reconciliation in a timely and accurate manner to aid in the closure of BIR tax audits
  • Assist in determining ways on how to maximize tax expenses by identifying opportunities for tax incentives, tax credits and refunds.
  • Other task that may be assigned from time-to-time and assist special projects if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any related field.
  • Must be a certified Public Accountant
  • Minimum of 5 yrs related experience.
  • Proficient in accounting systems preferably SAP and Netsuite
  • Extensive knowledge on taxes and statutory reporting requirements
  • Updated on BIR issuances and Court rulings
