Job Title: Web Investigator (Full-Time)

Work Location: Cebu City or Baybay City, Leyte

Work Setup: Onsite

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Night Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Web Investigator who will conduct online research, collect digital evidence, and apply investigative techniques to support our operations. You will be responsible for preparing detailed, step-by-step reports that clearly document findings and support conclusions. The ideal candidate is analytical, persistent, resourceful, and highly skilled in online research. Training on modern investigative methodologies will be provided.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Investigate rogue Amazon sellers using advanced digital investigation methods and research tools.
  • Gather, analyze, and validate online evidence.
  • Produce thorough step-by-step reports, complete with screenshots and clear explanations showing how conclusions were reached.
  • Apply logical reasoning and investigative judgment in identifying discrepancies, patterns, and potential fraud indicators.
  • Conduct extensive web searches to uncover information and connect relevant data points.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • If undergraduate: must have completed at least 2 years of college and have 2 years of work experience in one company.
  • Graduate of a non-board course (e.g., Statistics, Computer/IT-related field, Engineering).
  • Applicants with IT, Computer Engineering, or similar backgrounds are preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to create thorough, evidence-based reports.
  • Skilled at identifying clues, recognizing patterns, and "connecting the dots."
  • Excellent Google search and online research abilities.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • CEBU: Must reside in Cebu City, Talisay City, or Mandaue City—or be willing to relocate.
  • BAYBAY: Non-residents must be willing to relocate to Baybay City.
