About the Job

Our Cloud Infrastructure Team at AWB is looking for a Cloud Engineer with proven experience in cloud computing and system engineering. This role is your chance to move past the basics and get hands-on with real-world ERP cloud environments on Google Cloud.

As an official Google Partner, AWB gives you the opportunity to gain direct experience with Google Cloud solutions while working on business-critical systems that drive real impact. You'll be part of a collaborative team that designs, builds, and supports next-generation cloud infrastructures while accelerating your growth through free mentorship, training, and certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch and support Odoo ERP deployments on Google Cloud
  • Provision and maintain virtual machines, manage storage (hello GCS), and keep ERP files flowing smoothly
  • Work with databases like Cloud SQL for backup, restore, and optimization
  • Troubleshoot GitLab self-hosted environments including user access, repo backup, and CI/CD runners
  • Handle Google Workspace Level 1 support such as account setup, email config, and policy enforcement
  • Manage domain and DNS configurations across registrars and platforms
  • Support backups and recovery plans so systems stay resilient
  • Create and update documentation, checklists, and runbooks for smooth operations
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers during deployments, upgrades, and maintenance

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, system administration, or a related role
  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Confidence with Linux systems and command-line interfaces
  • Experience with Google Cloud services (VMs, storage, databases) and preferably some exposure to AWS
  • Experience with Git or platforms like GitLab
  • (Bonus) Experience with , CI/CD, or the Google Workspace Admin Console
  • Some knowledge of scripting using Bash or Python
  • Understanding of backup/restore strategies, and basic networking/DNS concepts
  • A willingness to learn, improve, and document what you know
