Key Responsibilities

  • Journal Entries & Ledger: Post daily transactions, maintain the general ledger, and record journal entries.
  • Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets, and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and other reports.
  • Month/Year-End Close: Assist with closing procedures, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Tax & Compliance: Handle tax payments, returns, and ensure adherence to regulations (GAAP, local laws).
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and manage related records.
  • Budgeting & Analysis: Support budget preparation and analyze financial data for trends and cost savings.
  • Auditing: Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

Typical Reporting Structure

  • Reports to the Accounting Manager or Finance Director, supporting senior accounting staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php12, Php16,000.00 per month
