About the Role:

As the Credit Specialist (B2B2C Credit Lead), you are responsible for ensuring consistent, disciplined execution of credit, underwriting, and fraud-prevention practices across the B2B2C loan portfolio. The role operates through matrix management, influencing Credit, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure adherence to approved credit standards and controls. By translating credit and fraud expertise into clear processes and operational guidance, you support portfolio quality while enabling scalable growth of the B2B2C business.

What you will do:

• Lead, execute, and validate underwriting, fraud checks, verification, and credit procedures during the pilot stage of the B2B2C loan product to confirm end-to-end process effectiveness and readiness for scale.
• Ensure disciplined execution of B2B2C credit processes by guiding Credit, Operations, and Sales teams through matrix management, without direct reporting authority.
• Maintain portfolio risk within approved thresholds by strengthening underwriting, fraud-prevention, and verification standards across B2B2C lending activities.
• Translate technical credit and fraud requirements into clear, actionable procedures, playbooks, and operational guidance for cross-functional teams.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify risk drivers, emerging trends, and control gaps, and recommend corrective actions to protect the loan book.
• Propose and implement improvements to credit workflows, verification steps, controls, and system logic to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Support underwriting decision-making by reviewing and validating complex, high-risk, or exception cases, reinforcing adherence to approved credit policies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve credit-related escalations, operational blockers, and dealer-specific issues impacting credit quality.
• Design and deliver training and regular calibration sessions to ensure consistent application of credit and fraud-prevention standards across frontline teams.

What we will need:

• 3 years of experience in credit, underwriting, fraud detection, or risk management, preferably in consumer or auto lending.
• Strong understanding of KYC, fraud indicators, document verification, and credit evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to operate through matrix management and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into operational guidance.
• Experience working with credit systems, verification tools, and lending workflows is an advantage.
