The primary function of a Healthcare Insurance Claims Billing Associate is to research and review medical documents to be sure all necessary paper work is in place for compliant billing.

Responsibilities

  • Review documents received from Sales Team for compliant medical claims billing, (SWO, Clinical Documents, Auth Guidelines, WCD, Discharge Date).

  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy.

  • System savvy – Multi applications.

  • Process Daily Correspondence (Mail, Fax, and Emails)

  • Provides assistance/resolution to client's inquiries

  • Supports and assists team members

  • Maintain a current working knowledge of all healthcare related issues and regulations

  • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications we seek in you 

Minimum Qualifications / Skills


• PC literate 

• Detail oriented and highly organized  

• Ability to meet deadlines  

• Articulate with good telephone skills and etiquette


• Must be able to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously 

• Accounts receivable or collections background in a Health Care related field     is a plus but not necessary 

• High School Diploma or GED 

• Collections experience is a plus but not necessary  

• Customer Service experience is required


• Clear background and drug screen required
