WHAT IS A SEO SPECIALIST?

Our awesome client, a fast- paced company based in AU is looking for a SEO Specialist to be part of their growing team.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SEO Specialist to lead and execute end-to-end SEO strategies across multiple client websites. This role is ideal for an experienced SEO professional with strong technical expertise, data-driven thinking, and the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver measurable organic growth.

You will be responsible for technical SEO audits, on-page and off-page optimization, keyword strategy, performance analysis, and mentoring junior team members while staying up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business and client goals
  • Conduct technical SEO audits, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data
  • Perform advanced keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping
  • Optimize on-page SEO elements such as metadata, internal linking, content structure, and schema markup
  • Manage off-page SEO initiatives, including link-building strategies and digital PR collaboration
  • Utilize AI and SEO tools to enhance keyword clustering, content planning, meta optimization, and reporting
  • Work across multiple CMS platforms including WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, and Squarespace
  • Monitor, analyze, and report SEO performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio
  • Present insights, recommendations, and progress reports to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented
  • Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and emerging SEO trends
  • Mentor and support junior SEO team members and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or multi-client environment
  • Strong expertise in technical SEO, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript rendering, canonicalization, and schema
  • Proven track record of driving organic traffic growth and search visibility improvements
  • Advanced experience with SEO and analytics tools such as GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
  • Experience working with multiple CMS platforms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with international or offshore clients
  • Familiarity with AI-driven SEO workflows and automation tools
  • Basic understanding of CRO and paid media integration with SEO
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading junior SEO specialists
