Job Title: Business Development Associate – Mechanical
Job Summary:
The Business Development Associate – Mechanical supports the company's growth by identifying business opportunities related to mechanical works such as HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP mechanical systems. The role focuses on lead generation, client coordination, proposal support, and project development from pre-sales to contract award.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for mechanical construction and MEP projects
- Conduct market research to track upcoming mechanical works, tenders, and project leads
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and bid documents for mechanical projects
- Coordinate with Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, and Operations teams for technical and costing requirements
- Follow up on submitted bids, proposals, and client inquiries
- Maintain updated records of leads, clients, and project pipelines
- Assist in client meetings, technical discussions, and site visits as needed
- Support negotiation processes and contract preparation under the guidance of the Business Development Manager
- Monitor project status from pre-bid stage to project award and turnover to operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and documentation requirements
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Business Development Manager or Department Head
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in business development, sales, or mechanical / MEP construction is an advantage
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems is an advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willing to attend site visits, meetings, and client presentations
- Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and proactive
Work Schedule:
- Full-time | Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
