Job Overview:

Philmetal Products, Inc., a leading name in the steel manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to join our team in South Luzon.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical sales support and promoting our wide range of high-quality metal products to both new and existing clients across the province of Rizal.

Job Description

  • Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities by networking, cold-calling, and conducting market research
  • Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, helping them select the best solutions for their needs
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to influence customer decision-making
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and sales strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and sales activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional post-sales support and exploring opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Provide detailed reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends to support the company's decision-making process
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and build long-lasting relationships with clients

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in a technical sales or engineering sales role, preferably within the metal products industry
  • Strong technical understanding of metal products, including their applications, specifications, and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present to and negotiate with customers
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, or a related technical field
