About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, collections, and payment processing activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely receipt of payments, and supporting overall accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor customer accounts for payments, discrepancies, and overdue balances.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure prompt payment and resolve billing issues.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collections performance.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to streamline billing and payment processes.
  • Support the continuous improvement of AR procedures and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables.
  • Familiarity with Xero and Unleashed (or similar ERP/accounting systems) preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in reconciling complex accounts and handling high transaction volumes.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements.

Work from Home Requirements (Must have before the start date)

  • Internet Connection : Min of 30 mbps wired internet connection speed AND a backup internet connection (before start date)
  • Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a working computer with updated current programmes from home with Dual Monitors
  • Noise Canceling Headset (Plantronics)
  • Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
  • Must be comfortable working with a Monitoring Software (for payroll and timekeeping purposes only)
  • Webcam - Contractors must have a working webcam

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php50,000.00 per month
