Role Overview:

This role is critical in ensuring compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and International Accounting Standards (IAS). The ideal candidate brings over a decade of expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, and audit coordination, and is adept at preparing financial statements and statutory reports with precision and clarity.

As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will be responsible for crafting technical memoranda for external auditors, interpreting complex accounting standards, and ensuring our financial disclosures meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

What You Will Do:

  • Support regular audit processes by coordinating documentation and responses
  • Prepare technical memoranda and related requirements for external auditors
  • Assist in the execution of financial audit activities and deliverables
  • Maintain and update the accounting manual to reflect current standards and practices

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; must be a
    Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Minimum of
    10 years' experience
    in statutory reporting and technical accounting, including preparation and management of technical memoranda
  • At least
    3 years in a managerial role
    , with proven leadership in finance or accounting teams
  • Strong proficiency in
    statutory reporting and audit requirements
    , including financial statement preparation aligned with
    PFRS, IFRS, and IAS
  • Solid background in
    general accounting functions
    and handling auditor requirements
  • Excellent
    verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with
    SAP
    is a plus, but not required
