Effective teamwork skills

Good communication skills in EnglishPreferred:Master's degree

Certifications and Licenses Required:NJ State Occupational Therapy LicenseAHA BLS Provider CertificationAmerican Occupational Therapy Certification Board registrationNBCOT registration

Valid Driver's LicenseScheduling Requirements:Part-Time (32 hours/week)Evenings and occasional weekends

Essential Functions:Administers and interprets assessment tools including history, screening, observations, and evaluations

Sets and prioritizes functional goals for remediation or adaptation

Selects and evaluates treatment methods

Uses activity analysis principles to meet environmental demands

Communicates effectively with patients, families, and team members

Assists in training others as needed

Seeks supervision and contributes to performance improvement

Explains symptoms, prognosis, and limitations to patients and families

Makes discharge recommendations considering prognosis and community resources
