Main Purpose of Position
The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for supporting the design and delivery of visual content across Stanley College's digital and print channels. This includes social media assets, digital campaigns, event collateral, video content, and other promotional materials. The role contributes to maintaining and enhancing the College's brand identity by ensuring creative outputs are consistent, engaging, and aligned with organisational values.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Creative Output
- Produce visual materials for social media, email campaigns, presentations, and print.
- Assist in creating and editing short-form video and motion content for marketing campaigns.
- Develop event collateral including posters, banners, merchandise, and digital screens.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality design files optimised for digital and print requirements.
Brand & Marketing Support
- Apply and maintain Stanley College brand guidelines across all design projects.
- Support visual storytelling for student recruitment, events, and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage, edit, and organise digital assets, ensuring accessibility for the Marketing Team.
Collaboration & Workflow
- Work with the Marketing Manager, Officers, and cross-departmental staff to deliver creative solutions.
- Liaise with external suppliers (e.g., printers, merchandise providers) for quotations, specifications, and production.
- Contribute to creative development and campaign brainstorming sessions.
- Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.
Organisational Contribution
- Operate in alignment with Stanley College's mission, vision, and values.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for more effective design processes.
- Complete administrative and documentation tasks in line with established policies and workflows.
- Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion by upholding respectful workplace practices.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably directed by the Line Manager.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
- Familiarity with collaborative design tools (e.g., Figma, Canva for Teams).
- Basic video editing and motion design skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).
- Strong eye for typography, colour, and layout with attention to detail.
- Understanding of social media design requirements and digital advertising formats.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for digital design (WCAG).
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Photography and illustration skills are advantageous.
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant design experience (internship, freelance, agency, or in-house).
- Portfolio demonstrating creative capability in both digital and print design.
- Experience preparing design files for production (print and digital).
- Exposure to motion design and video content desirable.
Qualifications & Training
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Ongoing interest in current design practices, UI/UX principles, and emerging design tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate
Pay: Php21, Php27,000.00 per month
