We are representing a fast-growing M&A advisory firm that specializes in middle-market transactions across Southeast Asia and select global markets. The firm works closely with business owners, institutional investors, and strategic partners on a wide range of transactions, including buy- and sell-side deals, capital raising, and market entry initiatives. Known for its deep market insight, rigorous analysis, and collaborative approach, the firm plays a key role in navigating complex cross-border deals.

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated M&A Analyst to support the evaluation and execution of strategic transactions across diverse industries. This role requires a strong grasp of market dynamics and will be central to building investment theses, identifying opportunities, and driving key deliverables throughout the deal lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive industry research, market sizing, and competitor benchmarking

  • Support the preparation of investment materials including teasers, information memoranda, and pitch decks

  • Assist in the creation and refinement of valuation models (e.g., discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis)

  • Track market developments and identify potential acquisition or investment opportunities

  • Participate in due diligence processes and assist in managing virtual data rooms

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance transaction processes

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in M&A, equity or industry research, strategy consulting, corporate development, or related roles

  • Strong capability in market and trend analysis, including the application of recognized strategic and competitive assessment frameworks

  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with experience supporting financial modeling and valuation analysis

  • Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills

  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with general market intelligence platforms and databases used for company and industry research

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
