Qualifications

  • Graduate of any Finance, Accounting, or related course
  • 2–3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis is a plus
  • Experience in configuring and using planning solutions (e.g., Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle Hyperion) is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense/QlikView, or Google Data Studio/Looker
  • Strong analytical, communication, and business acumen skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, and demonstrates high initiative
  • Experience in model configuration, customization, and business process mapping (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) preferred
  • Willing to work on-site within Metro Manila

Job Description

The Planning Specialist is responsible for configuring and developing financial and operational planning models that align with business objectives. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to translate financial and business processes into accurate, functional planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Model Development & Analysis

  • Design, build, and maintain planning models that meet business needs.
  • Perform process and model analysis to ensure sound configurations.
  • Complete all required training and certifications for assigned planning tools.

2. Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Collaborate with clients and business leaders to understand and validate requirements.
  • Support Planning Solution Architects in refining business processes and model outputs.
  • Contribute insights and recommendations based on data analysis and client feedback.

3. Operations & Delivery

  • Deliver projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, controls, and data security requirements.
  • Monitor risks and escalate issues that may affect delivery.

4. Collaboration & Team Culture

  • Foster a collaborative and customer-centric team environment.
  • Participate in company and team engagement activities.

5. Pre-Sales Support

  • Provide input on project scope and man-day estimates during pre-sales activities.
  • Represent the company in discussions with clients and technology partners.

6. Financial Accountability

  • Update billable hours and contribute to efficient financial tracking of projects.
