We are looking for dynamic Medical Laboratory Scientist at Medi Linx Laboratory, Inc., that will play a vital role in delivering high-quality laboratory services that support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experienced in performing both culture and non-culture microbiology tests, including the processing and identification of bacterial, fungal, and other pathogens from clinical specimens.
  • Skilled in preparing media, inoculating and incubating cultures, interpreting results, and conducting antimicrobial susceptibility testing with accurate documentation. Ensures proper specimen handling and disposal in strict compliance with biosafety standards.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Follow standard operating procedures, including quality control and assurance protocols.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to healthcare providers.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper specimen handling and processing
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of laboratory activities and test results.
  • Comply with all laboratory safety, regulatory, and infection control guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A graduate in Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field, with valid licensure as a Medical Technologist (MT)
  • With atleast 1-2 years experience being Medical Laboratory Scientist.
  • Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) and/or ASCP (or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in in-depth knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies, instrumentation, and procedures.
  • Amenable to work in one of the hospital located in San Juan, Metro Manila.
