Auto Electrician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles
• Install and maintain vehicle electrical systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults
• Replace faulty wiring, switches, and sensors
• Install aftermarket accessories and systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services
• Stay updated on new automotive electrical technologies

Requirements

• Vocational training or apprenticeship in automotive electrical systems
• Proven experience as an automotive electrician
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Familiarity with CAN bus and modern vehicle electronics
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver's license
