The Power Apps Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing low-code applications to serve as the MacroEconomics Production Studio, with a strong focus on Power Apps and Power Automate. The developer will build user-friendly, role-based forms and workflows that enable seamless data collection, validation, and approval processes.

Applications will be integrated with data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, or SQL, and optimized for use across web, mobile, and tablet devices. Additionally, the developer will ensure adherence to best practices for data security, app performance, and user access management. The Power Apps Developer will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, UI/UX Designers, and other developers in an agile/scrum environment to deliver scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned solutions that meet user needs and organizational objectives.

Detailed Tasks and/or Expected OutputTranslate provided business requirements, wireframes, and process flows into polished, functional, and user-friendly Power Apps applications

Design and optimize app layouts for responsive performance across web, tablet, and mobile devices within the Power Apps environment

Create reusable components such as forms, galleries, dashboards, filters, and role-based views to enhance app functionality and user experience

Build and maintain a consistent app design system and UI standards that align with organizational branding and accessibility guidelines

Develop Power Apps applications that integrate seamlessly with data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and external APIsImplement automated workflows and business process automations using Power Automate, ensuring they meet scalability, performance, and security standards

Create and deliver automated, pre-defined reports and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI (as needed), tailored to business stakeholder requirements

Deliver clear documentation, user guides, and technical specifications to facilitate deployment, support, and ongoing app maintenance

Collaborate within an agile/scrum environment, participating actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives, and working closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and UX/UI DesignersRequirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing low-code business applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power AutomateProven experience building responsive, role-based apps with integration to data sources like SharePoint, Dataverse, or SQL ServerStrong portfolio or track record demonstrating delivery of complex forms, automated workflows, and mobile-optimized apps

Experience creating automated, predefined reports and dashboards using Power BI or within the Power PlatformFamiliarity with governance, security roles, and app lifecycle management within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem

Basic proficiency in Python, with the ability to build simple scripts or add-ons to extend functionality where required

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and services, including Power Platform Admin Center and Azure Active Directory integration

Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams

Fluent working and written English proficiency
