About the role

POWERCHINA PHILIPPINES CORPORATION' is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team in Bago City Negros Occidental. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the design, planning and construction of our exciting infrastructure projects. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will contribute your expertise to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that power the growth and development of our communities.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting site inspections and evaluations to assess project requirements and constraints
  • Producing detailed engineering designs, plans and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Analysing survey data, soil reports and other technical information to inform design decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate construction activities and resolve issues
  • Ensuring projects adhere to relevant building codes, safety standards and environmental regulations
  • Monitoring construction progress and quality to identify and address any problems
  • Preparing comprehensive reports, presentations and other documentation as required

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Civil Engineer, ideally in the construction or infrastructure sectors
  • Excellent knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, materials and construction methods
  • Proficient in using CAD software, structural analysis tools and other engineering software
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
