About the role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join the team at Prince Retail Group of Companies' store in Prince Hypermart Palompon. This full-time position will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and maintaining efficient cash management operations at our retail location.

What you'll be doing

  • Accurately processing customer transactions and handling cash, cheques, and electronic payments
  • Maintaining a balanced cash drawer and reconciling transactions at the end of each shift
  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering queries and assisting with merchandise selection
  • Monitoring inventory levels and alerting management to any stock discrepancies
  • Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures to uphold security and loss prevention measures
  • Assisting with other store duties as required, such as replenishing shelves and supporting the team

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in a cashier or front-line retail role
  • Strong numerical skills and accuracy with cash handling
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask efficiently
  • A positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management
