Head of Finance

Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Head of Finance to lead our entire financial function. The ideal candidate is a proven finance leader and trusted advisor to senior management, capable of driving financial planning, business performance, and organizational growth through deep, actionable insights. This role requires extensive expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial transformation, and managing end-to-end finance operations within a fast-paced environment. Experience with global operations, shared services models, and ERP implementation is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

I. Strategic Financial Leadership & FP&A (Forecasting and Planning)

• Act as the strategic finance partner to the CEO and functional heads, translating complex financial data into actionable insights to drive commercial and strategic decisions.
• Lead and manage the entire end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles, including variance analysis, risk-based forecasting, and capital planning.
• Prepare and present Financial and Management Reporting to Boards and senior leadership, providing timely forecasts and strategic reviews.
• Drive cost optimization and investment analysis to support business growth and improve profitability.

II. Finance Operations & Transformation

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations, compliance, financial governance, and audit readiness.
• Lead Finance Transformation and improvement projects, focusing on ERP implementation and automating reporting processes to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
• Design and implement Shared Service Center (SSC)/Global Business Services (GBS) operating models, managing cross-border finance transitions and standardizing controls to improve cost-to-serve.
• Ensure rigorous Risk Management and Internal Controls are in place and adhered to across all financial functions.

III. Business Partnering & Advisory

• Serve as a key finance advisor to leadership, delivering financial insights across revenue, workforce, and investment lines.
• Advise on investment due diligence, post-merger integration (M&A Support), and governance improvements in regulated environments.
• Collaborate with business units and operations teams to define KPIs, financial models, and dashboards for performance management.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance leadership roles, including FP&A and Financial Transformation.
• Proven experience as a Head of Finance or Associate Director/Manager within a major consulting firm or multinational corporation (MNC).
• Demonstrable track record of leading end-to-end finance operations and managing complex financial reporting and budgeting cycles.
• Expert-level proficiency in Financial Modeling and advanced data analysis (SQL/Advanced Excel).
• Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Finance, JD Edwards) is essential

Ideal Skills

• Strong background in establishing and optimizing Shared Service Centers (SSCs) or global service delivery models.
• Experience in diverse sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, or consulting is a plus.
• Familiarity with various accounting frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, local GAAP, IFRS).
• A proven entrepreneurial mindset or hands-on experience in small business operations (e.g., inventory, cash flow, customer engagement) is valued for a holistic business perspective.
