Solar/Electrical Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar or Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on system quoting and design. This role is responsible for developing tailored solar and energy system solutions for clients, creating accurate system designs, and producing bills of materials to support sales and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background with a deep understanding of solar technologies and system applications.

Work Set Up:

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Work Setup: Onsite
• Location: Cavite
• Client Industry: Solar Power, Battery Storage

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design solar PV systems (on-grid, hybrid, and off-grid) tailored to client requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and bills of materials for solar energy solutions including solar panels, batteries, hot water systems, and custom setups.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align designs with project scopes and client needs.
• Stay updated on industry standards, product advancements, and best practices in solar energy system design.
• Provide technical input and support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, safety standards, and local utility requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and system drawings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the solar energy industry, with a strong focus on system design and technical sales support.
• Proficient in solar design software.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and renewable energy technologies.
• Hands-on experience in designing and quoting solar PV systems.
• Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of local grid application processes (e.g., Ergon) and dynamic export limitations is an advantage.
• Licensed engineer or relevant certifications preferred but not required.
