About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary
Cybersecurity Director
to lead the cybersecurity consulting practice of a
global professional services firm
. This senior leadership role is ideal for a seasoned cybersecurity professional with a strong
consulting background
, strategic mindset, and a proven track record of delivering advisory and implementation services to top-tier clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the firm's cybersecurity strategy in the Philippines, leading client engagements, and building high-performing teams that provide best-in-class solutions to address evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
    strategic leadership
    in developing and expanding the cybersecurity consulting practice.
  • Advise C-suite and senior stakeholders
    on cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk, and compliance across industries.
  • Lead and oversee
    cybersecurity engagements
    , including assessments, strategy development, implementation, and incident response.
  • Identify business opportunities, lead proposal development, and contribute to
    practice growth and business development
    initiatives.
  • Ensure service excellence and client satisfaction through effective project and stakeholder management.
  • Mentor and develop
    cybersecurity consultants and managers to build technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to
    leverage frameworks, methodologies, and innovative solutions
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum years of cybersecurity experience
    , with strong consulting or advisory background (Big 4 or equivalent experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of
    leading cybersecurity programs and teams
    in complex environments.
  • Deep knowledge of
    cybersecurity frameworks
    , regulatory standards, and risk management practices.
  • Strong experience in client engagement, business development, and practice growth.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g.,
    CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer
    ) are highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
