About the role

JND GENERAL HOLDINGS INC. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team in our Cavite Calabarzon office. As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support to ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. What you'll be doing

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements

  • Perform data entry tasks, such as invoicing, billing, and processing payments

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date

  • Participate in the implementation of new accounting practices and procedures to improve efficiency

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within the Accounting & Small Practice Accounting industry

  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial records

  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
