  1. Responsible for providing and managing highly technical and specialized engineering services to support the safe and reliable operations, electrical power system generation, transmission and distribution networks.

  2. Provides specialized technical support for the company and customers with regards to designs, standards, commissioning, maintenance, operation, investigations, etc. focusing on Power Transformers; ensuring safe and reliable Power Supply.

  3. Expert in disassembling, regasketing, testing, removal and installation, untanking works (winding is a plus).

  4. Leads the planning of projects, project scope, goals and deliverables.

  5. With in depth knowledge ON HOW TO DO the scope of work and GENUINELY understand the work methodologies.

  6. Plans and oversees installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of product/equipment to ensure proper function and maximize uptime.

  7. Serves as Expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.

  8. Ability to provide guidance in performing Root Cause Analysis on all critical equipment failures.

  9. Perform continuous review of power transformers' maintenance programs to identify improvements to ensure asset's safe and reliable operation.

  10. Provides technical consultation to the company and client as required in identifying and reviewing critical spare parts list of existing equipment.

  11. Provides technical consultation to assess the condition of aging power transformers.

  12. Provide technical expertise on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating if the equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.

  13. Provides technical engineering input on repair details and offers onsite technical support, especially for critical power transformers.

  14. Provides engineering input for power transformer work packages to ensure clients standards and material specifications are followed.

  15. Represent the company in industry and professional organizations, users' group, which address or govern electrical codes and standards.

  16. Review and update company standards and be familiar with international standards.

  17. Possess strong technical training, speaking, writing, and customer service skills.

  18. Able to direct daily work activities with limited supervision and able to work cooperatively in a team environment

  19. Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to field service personnel to implement those decisions

  20. Track time, ensure work alignment with GanttChart and ensuring project quality

  21. Lead quality assurance

  22. Oversee resources

  23. Meeting with clients and project managers to report on project progress

  24. Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships

  25. Ensures all customer concerns are satisfactory resolved

  26. Devising cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion

  27. Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
