Job Purpose:

  • Due to the legal team's organizational restructuring and the increased volume of contracts and need for corporate legal support, we are looking for a dedicated Legal Counsel to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support for BOI (Board of Investments) projects
  • Supervise intellectual property applications (trademarks, patents)
  • Resolve legal issues raised by the Corporate and Special Projects teams
  • Review and approve legal matters and opinions prepared by Paralegals
  • Provide legal assistance to the PCSB/Expansion Team
  • Draft and review major contracts and documents
  • Review/approve minor contracts and documents drafted by Paralegals
  • Draft corporate documents (Articles of Incorporation, By-laws, etc.)
  • Assist in legal aspects of cost-saving initiatives
  • Support the board and executives on miscellaneous legal tasks

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws
  • Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) in good standing
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Corporate Lawyer
  • Experience in handling contracts, corporate-related cases, and special projects
  • Advantageous: Experience in mergers & acquisitions or business expansion

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills within and outside the organization
  • Advanced skills in contract drafting and review
  • Proficient in negotiation, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessment
