Job Description – DC Power EngineerJob Summary

The DC Power Engineer is responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of direct current (DC) power systems to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply for telecom, data center, and critical infrastructure operations. This role involves supervising DC power equipment, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, install, and maintain DC power systems, including rectifiers, inverters, converters, and battery banks.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on DC power equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor, test, and troubleshoot DC power systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage battery health checks and replacement schedules for uninterrupted power backup.
  • Ensure proper grounding and earthing of all DC systems.
  • Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and site documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for installation and repair activities.
  • Ensure all works comply with electrical codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  • Provide technical support during network rollouts, upgrades, and site acceptance tests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in DC power systems, preferably in telecom, data centers, or utilities.
  • Knowledge of rectifiers, inverters, UPS, battery systems, and power distribution units (PDUs).
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and grounding/earthing practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites/projects.
  • Willingness to travel and work in the field when required.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in Electrical Safety or related training is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with telecom DC power systems (-48V DC) is highly preferred.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

Has experience on Remote Monitoring System and DC Power System.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php50,000.00 per month
