ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER

PROFESSIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Planning

  1. Takes charge of sales and product forecasts for sales territories outside Metro Manila. 2. Develops business plans and effectively implements them.

  2. Identifying market opportunities to properly plan the sales efforts and strategies to increase sales. 4. Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

  3. Establish and prepare monthly sales plans, strategies, and marketing plans and discuss it with the Manager.

B. Organizing

  1. Building and maintaining good business relationships with customers.

  2. Provides direction to all sales personnel and ensures proper management of accounts which include: product distribution, promotional campaigns and effective merchandising.

  3. Maintains and expands customer base through the continuous monitoring of performance of the team; increasing business opportunities such as new accounts, new channels of distribution and other potential markets that will contribute to the company's growth.

  4. Interfaces with other functional departments (Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, etc.) to drive key processes to ensure alignment with company objectives.

C. Leading

  1. Supervising and guiding the sales team as well as providing motivation to the sales team to achieve sales goals.

  2. Provides coaching and mentoring to salespeople to maintain a highly motivated sales force.

  3. Acts as the company representative at trade association meetings, should the need arise. 4. Commence, defend and control all legal actions, arbitrations, investigations and proceedings that arise due

to events occurring in connection with the business of the Company during the term of this Agreement.

  1. Perform the duties of the Sales Manager in cases of absence or emergency.

  2. Performs other duties as assigned or as may be needed in accordance with situations that arise from the operations of the company.

D. Controlling

  1. Monitoring the performance of the sales team.

  2. Ensuring that the sales team performs their tasks.

  3. Analyzes the performance and reports of the sales team before submitting and discussing with the Sales Manager.

  4. Maintain the assets of the Company in good, order and condition.

  5. Writes evaluation reports on the progress of sales trainees during their training and probation periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php35,000.00 per month
