Job Responsibilities:

  • Book student invoices in the accounting system
  • Compute and book the monthly recognition of deferred revenue and revenue in the accounting system
  • Allocate and clear out of student payments and ensuring that customer accounts are reconciled
  • Collaborate with the credit control department for student-related concerns
  • Prepare the updated list of new students for the creation of their accounts in U4
  • Creation of invoices for other income (i,e intercompany charges, other operating income)
  • Perform other AR-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or General Accounting, preferably in a shared service or multinational environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in revenue recognition, bad debts impairment, and intercompany recharges
  • Proven experience handling end-to-end AR processes, including invoice creation, revenue recognition, and payment allocation
  • Proficient in preparing and analyzing AR aging reports and ensuring timely collections and reconciliations
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills, working knowledge of SAGE or Agresso software considered an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when dealing with credit control and interdepartmental teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

Work Arrangement

  • Onsite, with a transition to a hybrid schedule after passing the 3rd-month review. The hybrid schedule will require onsite work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will be work-from-home days.
  • Work Location: Robinsons Zeta Tower, C5 Road, Ugong Norte, Quezon City. Office is near IPI Pasig and Tiendesitas. Office is accessible from Eastwood, C5 Road, Ortigas CBD, and Rizal areas.
