The UI/UX Designer is responsible for enhancing the overall user experience across all digital platforms, with a particular focus on improving the customer journey, reducing bounce rates, and ensuring visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces. This role works collaboratively with WordPress developers, other front-end and back-end developers, and stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement effective UI/UX strategies that align with company goals.

  • Conduct regular reviews of current website layouts and user journeys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze customer behavior and engagement data (e.g., bounce rates, session duration) to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with WordPress developers and other technical team members to ensure the seamless implementation of design updates.
  • Produce high-quality wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma or similar design tools.
  • Present and defend design decisions and recommendations based on UX best practices and data insights.
  • Work closely with the marketing and development teams to ensure that design strategies support SEO, content, and lead conversion objectives.
  • Test and optimize design elements across various devices and browsers.
  • Maintain consistency in branding and visual language across all digital assets.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and tools in UX/UI design, interaction design, and usability best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
  • Familiarity with WordPress environments and an understanding of its limitations and possibilities in design execution.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, HTML/CSS principles, and web accessibility standards.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) and apply insights to improve UX.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of design systems and consistency in UI patterns.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
