We are currently seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team and ensure our operations meet all regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Position Overview:

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's compliance framework. You will work closely with staff to ensure all documents are received and verified, and that processes, reporting, and audits are conducted efficiently and effectively. This role involves onboarding and verifying credentials and qualifications of Registered Nurses (RNs), caregivers, and other staff, making it ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in aged care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support compliance of all staff, both new and existing, with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new staff, including verifying credentials and qualifications of nurses and other care staff.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and reporting systems.
  • Monitor and support adherence to policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement in compliance processes and recommend solutions.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory roles, preferably within aged care or healthcare.
  • Experience with the Australian aged care industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Australian aged care legislation and standards.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Tertiary qualifications in healthcare, business, or a compliance-related field are advantageous.
