Job Summary

The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise risk management (ERM) policies and procedures, while ensuring integration across all risk domains of the Bank. The position will support the Board in setting the Bank's risk appetite and limits structure, establish and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), and drive ICAAP-related activities, including capital stress testing and scenario analysis. The role also provides strategic guidance to business units, develops risk mitigation strategies, ensures compliance with BSP regulations, and fosters a strong risk-aware culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain ERM policies and procedures; recommend enhancements to other Bank policies for an integrated risk approach.
  • Support the Board of Directors in risk appetite development and translate into risk limits structure.
  • Own and maintain the Bank's Risk Appetite Framework and KRI Guidelines.
  • Conduct risk identification, monitoring, and resolution in coordination with risk owners.
  • Lead ICAAP preparation and updates, capital stress testing, and scenario analysis.
  • Collaborate with functional units to integrate risk considerations into new products, services, and business decisions.
  • Conduct risk assessments, scenario planning, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Consolidate and present risk reports for Board, Senior Management, and Group meetings.
  • Drive risk awareness by leading ERM trainings across departments.
  • Liaise with Group Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, external auditors, and regulators on enterprise risk matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Accountancy, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Risk Management, with strong exposure to policy formulation and implementation in banking.
  • Strong knowledge of banking systems, products, operational processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Deep understanding of BSP regulations, global risk frameworks, and standards.
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a proactive and constructive mindset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging Senior Management and the Board.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
