About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a QA Assistant Manager to join the dynamic team at PRECISION DIE CASTING TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION', a leading manufacturing company in Calamba City, Laguna. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the quality of the company's products and processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with the production and quality assurance teams to develop and implement quality control procedures

  • Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards

  • Identifying and addressing quality issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to continuously improve processes

  • Documenting and reporting on quality metrics and KPIs to senior management

  • Providing training and mentoring to quality assurance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge

  • Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, and ensuring the company's compliance

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to drive quality initiatives and enhance overall operational efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

  • Excellent knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques, with a strong understanding of statistical process control

  • Proficient in the use of quality assurance software and tools, such as Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and APQP

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality management, or a related discipline
