SAP Master Data Specialist (WFH)

Job Description:

  • Gather equipment lists, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Build SAP master data structures aligned with process flows and equipment hierarchy.
  • Create and maintain maintenance plans, task lists, and materials records.
  • Set up of all monitoring, measure and trigger functionalities, asset tactics, frequencies etc. (maintenance plans), resourcing and various coding related to types of equipment failures, types of work groups and cost centers.
  • Understand how assets, PMs, and parts are linked in SAP to ensure accuracy.
  • Responsible for data migration or data cleansing type work.
  • Coordinate material and finish products master data setup, validations, and periodic maintenance.
  • Execute changes to SAP master data (e.g., material, purchasing info record, bill of material etc.) as approved by the business.
  • Prepare and manage data load sheets for SAP uploaders.
  • Perform mass updates.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems.
  • Work with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues.
  • Support the business with required procedures, submit incidents and change requests when needed.
  • Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures, process flows and related documentation.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or any related.
  • Has 5-10 years of experience in various capacities in the mining industry.
  • High-level experience in loading data into SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in executing data loads into SAP.
  • Experience using and uploading data using loading sheets.
  • Very skilled in the functionality of SAP with specific Master Data Experience Strong trade and technical background of the SAP system.
  • Familiarity with MSNW sheet/tool.
  • Familiarity with Pronto or Oracle type system is a plus.
  • Understanding of materials and equipment master data, including its structure and application within the SAP system.
  • Strong skills and experience in setting up the overall business assets, plant and equipment into an Asset Tree Hierarchy following specific naming conventions including sub-level parent/child relationships, also known as Functional Locations (FLOCS).
  • Analytically minded and methodical problem solver.
  • Able to efficiently prioritize work and timely inform stakeholders of the progress.
  • Strong written and communication skills in English language.
