About the Role

At KPMG Philippines, our Digital Transformation practice helps clients modernize their SAP landscape while strengthening risk, compliance, and governance frameworks. As an SAP Technical ABAP Consultant, you will design, develop, and optimize custom applications and integrations in S/4HANA to support business processes, GRC initiatives, and the SAP Audit Management System. You will also contribute to pre-sales activities, collaborating with functional, BASIS, and GRC consultants to define solutions, prepare proposals, and support client presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

ABAP Development & S/4HANA Customization

  • Develop and maintain custom reports, enhancements, Fiori OData services, and CDS views.
  • Implement RICEFW objects to support business process requirements and SAP GRC automation.
  • Optimize custom code for HANA in-memory performance and cloud deployment readiness.

GRC Integration

  • Support SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, ARM, BRM) by reviewing and customizing ABAP code for role validation, access risk analysis, and SoD checks.
  • Build custom workflows, reports, and scripts to automate IAM and access control processes.
  • Collaborate with GRC consultants to analyze code and data flows for compliance alignment.

SAP Audit Management System

  • Develop custom workflows, reports, and dashboards to support SAP Audit Management System implementations.
  • Integrate ABAP logic to automate audit lifecycle tasks, issue tracking, and control testing.
  • Collaborate with audit teams and clients to ensure system data supports internal and external audit requirements.

Pre-Sales Support & Consulting

  • Assist in solution design, effort estimation, and proposals for SAP ABAP, GRC, and Audit Management engagements.
  • Participate in client orals, walkthroughs, and solution presentations.
  • Provide technical insights and recommendations to align proposed solutions with client business needs and KPMG methodology.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work effectively with onshore and offshore KPMG teams to deliver SAP solutions efficiently.
  • Document development standards, best practices, and reusable solutions to enhance KPMG's SAP knowledge repository.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance with IT specialization, or Engineering.
  • 5–10 years of SAP consulting experience, including ABAP development in S/4HANA environments.
  • Hands-on experience in: ABAP programming: Reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces, OData services, CDS views, S/4HANA custom development and Fiori app integration, SAP GRC Access Control integration and automation, SAP Audit Management System configuration and custom development.
  • Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and role-based access design.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, cloud integration, and SAP data models.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working with functional, BASIS, and GRC teams.
  • Preferred certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP for S/4HANA, SAP Certified Technology Associate – GRC Access Control or Audit Management, CISA or equivalent certification (advantageous)
