About the job SAP ABAP - Associate Consultant (Makati) | Hybrid

Work Schedule: Morning Shift

Work Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite per week) | Makati

Eligibility: Open to local and expat candidates currently residing in the Philippines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
  • Build and maintain side-by-side extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using CAP, , or Java.
  • Assist in designing and implementing clean core-compliant extensions using in-app and on-stack extensibility techniques.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop OData services, Fiori Elements apps, and event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh or SAP Integration Suite.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
  • Document technical specifications, test cases, and deployment procedures.
  • Stay updated on RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP BTP innovations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with exposure to S/4HANA and cloud-based development.
  • Hands-on experience with any of the following:
    • ABAP on Cloud / RAP
    • SAP BTP (Business Application Studio, CAP)
    • OData and CDS Views
    • Fiori Elements and UI5 (basic level)
  • Understanding of clean core principles, modular architecture, and extensibility options in S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in SAP environments is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP BTP or ABAP Cloud Certification.
  • Exposure to SAP Integration Suite, SAP Event Mesh, or SAP Build tools.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JWT authentication, and cloud-native development.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
