POSITION SUMMARY

The 3D Modeler is responsible for creating high-quality digital models based on project briefs, concept art, or reference materials. This role involves designing accurate and visually appealing 3D assets with a strong emphasis on realism, clean topology, and detail. The modeler will manage the full 3D workflow — including modeling, UV mapping, and texturing — while ensuring all assets meet technical and artistic standards. They will collaborate with other team members to maintain visual consistency, meet deadlines, and contribute to the overall success of creative projects.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and create high-quality 3D models based on provided briefs, concept art, and reference material
  • Ensure models meet technical and aesthetic standards of realism, accuracy, and visual appeal
  • Create clean and optimized geometry and topology suitable for animation or real-time use
  • Apply UV mapping and texturing to enhance model realism
  • Collaborate closely with designers, animators, and other team members to meet project goals
  • Manage workloads efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Animation, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant 3D modeling experience
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Blender
  • Solid understanding of topology, UV mapping, and texturing workflows
  • An artistic eye for detail, form, proportion, and color
  • Ability to interpret visual references and translate them into detailed 3D assets

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Blender
  • Strong grasp of topology, UV mapping, and texturing
  • Good eye for detail, form, proportion, and color
  • Ability to follow briefs, concept art, and references
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling workflows and file formats
  • Basic understanding of rendering pipelines (a plus)
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
