About the role

Join the dynamic team at Hyundai Laguna Inc. as a Purchasing Staff. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the company's procurement processes, ensuring the smooth supply of materials and components necessary for our manufacturing operations in Binan City Laguna.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and requirements
  2. Research and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating favourable contracts and purchase orders
  3. Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely replenishment to avoid production delays
  4. Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities and transactions
  5. Analyse spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
  7. Provide excellent customer service to internal clients and external suppliers

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
  2. 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  3. Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise with suppliers effectively
  4. Proficient in data analysis and using procurement software and tools
  5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  6. Keen attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach to work
  7. Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work well under pressure
