About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing UK-based fintech company focused on simplifying post-trade processes and Standing Settlement Instructions (SSIs), is expanding its global support function. The Trade Support Specialists will serve as the frontline of the firm's client support operations, providing high-quality assistance to clients and internal teams across post-trade workflows.

This role represents the initial mid to senior hires who will help establish their support model in the Philippines. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and senior leadership to resolve issues, enhance client experience, and ensure seamless post-trade and settlement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1–L2 support for post-trade workflows, SSIs, settlement exceptions, and operational queries.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, troubleshooting issues and guiding clients through system functionality.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve post-trade processing and settlement discrepancies.
  • Investigate and triage client-reported issues, coordinating with development and product teams when needed.
  • Maintain and update operational documentation, runbooks, and settlement workflow procedures.
  • Handle data-focused tasks such as reviewing data integrity, performing database queries, and validating SSI information.
  • Support operational readiness for T+1-aligned workflows.
  • Participate in a global shift rotation (ROTA) covering two time zones, with shared weekend coverage.
  • Act as one of the initial "showcase" support team members—helping build best practices, service standards, and future onboarding processes.

Qualifications Required

  • 4–8+ years of experience in trade support, post-trade operations, settlements, or related financial operations roles.
  • Strong understanding of post-trade lifecycle processes, settlement flows, breaks resolution, and SSIs.
  • Experience supporting financial technology platforms or operational systems.
  • Ability to investigate issues with light database tools (e.g., SQL queries, data analysis utilities).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-growth, high-visibility environment.
  • Comfortable working across rotational shifts supporting global clients.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • FINRA Series 7 (inactive licenses acceptable).
  • Experience in data management, data validation, or operational data workflows.
  • Exposure to T+1 settlement changes and related regulatory impacts.
  • Background in fintech or vendor technology platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams (no coding or FIX experience required).
