JOB SUMMARY:
Assumes the responsibility of maintaining the condition of molds with regards to the procedural workflow of manufacturing molding parts. Ensures proper handling of mold and orderliness of tools and equipment in mold maintenance and floor area.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains the mold in good condition. Ensures that mold is adjusted and repaired in a skillful manner to avoid damage or loss.
- Responsible for the assembly, conversation, change parts and other necessary functions needed in maintaining the immovability of molds.
- Ensures that mold adjustments are being done in accordance with the standards. Must need to consult immediately with the leader, supervisor, or section manager of problem occurs.
- Ensures proper setting of molds to injection machine.
- Responsible on the regular cleaning and maintenance of electrolysis cleaning machine and spot welding machine.
- Coordinates to the Leader, Supervisor, and Section Manager all the condition concerning the machines being maintained
- Fill up withdrawal slip of tool parts and chemical slip in every withdrawal.
- Shall follow all work and safety instructions are required in the section.
- Accomplishes maintenance records and likewise ensures completeness for future references.
Education and Experience
- Technical course graduate
- Experienced working as maintenance die tool technician in a manufacturing firm
Competence and Knowledge
- Knowledge of using different maintenance tools, measuring instruments and equipment's like SG Machine, laser welding, electrolysis cleaning machine.
- Basic knowledge on die tool drawing. (can read or interpret die tool drawing)
- Can do basic die tool problem analysis and can provide analysis report.
- Flexible and adaptable
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office application.
Working Condition
- Frequent standing and walking due to the nature of work
- Lifting in an average capacity
- Frequent bending to check materials and specifications
