Web Developer

Position Summary:

Build fast, beautiful, and scalable websites that drive digital performance. This role leads end-to-end web development for client and internal projects, combining front-end finesse, back-end problem-solving, and technical SEO know-how. You will spend your time coding high-converting landing pages, implementing performance optimizations, managing website builds, and developing automations that make our tech stack smarter.

You'll work on projects including website and landing page development, technical SEO, conversion rate optimization, advanced tracking, and API integrations. As SEO is our largest service, you'll collaborate with strategists, designers, and content teams to execute high-impact web projects, owning on-page SEO, UI/UX best practices, speed optimization, and ongoing maintenance.

You love solving problems with code. You are fluent in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but also understand the business goals behind the build. You can build something incredibly custom and also work within templates and strict client guidelines. Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Web Development

• Develop responsive, accessible websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (primarily WordPress)
• Build landing pages, microsites, and full websites from wireframes, mockups, or creative direction
• Implement tracking scripts, forms, and integrations such as CRMs, marketing tools, and APIs

Technical SEO and Performance Optimization

• Execute front-end and technical SEO best practices such as structured data, meta tags, lazy loading, and internal linking
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and mobile responsivenessIdentify and resolve issues related to crawlability, site structure, and indexing

Workflow Automation and Innovation

• Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT and SurferSEO and platforms like Zapier to automate development tasks and internal workflows
• Research and recommend new tools and frameworks that improve scalability and site performance
• Maintain version control and manage deployment pipelines using Git or similar tools

Site Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Monitor uptime, debug errors, and manage plugin or theme updates
• Support hosting, CDN, and DNS configurations
• Maintain clean documentation, SOPs, and standards for codebase and deployment

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with designers, SEO strategists, and account managers to align site structure with user journey and business goals
• Translate creative ideas into working code with clarity and precision
• Communicate technical details clearly to non-developers

Required Qualifications

Certifications

• NBI Clearance (required prior to onboarding)

Language

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Able to follow technical instructions and collaborate with an international remote team

Experience

• 4 or more years of professional web development experience, preferably in an agency or multi-client environment
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive front-end development
• Experience with WordPress and page builders such as Elementor
• Proven expertise in various industries including B2B, B2C, SaaS, and e-commerce on a national and local scale.
• Familiarity with hosting environments, CDN configuration, caching, and performance tools
• Experience with analytics tracking, schema markup, and automation tools like Zapier
