I. Job Summary

The Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) Lead is responsible for managing the group of individual contributors whose primary function is to set, validate and continuously improve standards for the processes inside the Manufacturing operations. He/She is tasked of collaborating with Technical Group, Manufacturing and Process and Equipment Engineering groups to understand process requirements, ensure implementations of standards and drives process compliance. Implementation of Statistical Process Control Systems is an integral part of his/her group's role and responsibility as part of process and product in-line quality protocols. Using best known practices and data analytics, the group will drive continuous improvement programs throughout the manufacturing operations

II. Roles and Responsibilities Summary Leadership & Team Management


• Drive development activities for the CIP staff for continuous upskilling and competency development.


• Manage stakeholders and meet/exceed their requirements.


• Lead the group to establish a culture of "Zero Waste mindset" thru value stream mapping and other bkm for efficient manufacturing. Engineering Operations


• Coordinates with Technical, Manufacturing and Process and Equipment Engineering Groups to set Standards for manufacturing processes.


• Direct the planning and execution of manufacturing engineering activities.


• Ensure timely resolution of process flow issues that slow down manufacturing operations.


• Drive for resolution of quality standard issues with relevant stakeholders. Project Management


• Provide guidance to the team on the definition, planning and execution of process and material flow improvement projects, including scope definition, contractor selection, budgeting, and execution.


• Ensure compliance with product and process specifications, safety and quality standards. Facilities & Equipment Oversight


• Drive resolution of any process flow conflicts with equipment capability that results to manufacturing slow down. Compliance & Safety


• Ensure Compliance and Adherence to Equipment, Chemical and OHS standards.


• Conduct process hazard assessments and implement engineering controls to mitigate risks.

Financial & Resource Management


• Monitor departmental budgets and implement cost control measures.


• Review expenditures and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and savings.


• Drive process optimization, material use and usage and waste minimization activities that results to cost reduction measures. Continuous Improvement


• Drive Cost Saving initiatives to reduce cost of operation.


• Drive waste reduction in all manufacturing processes.


• Ensure space optimization initiatives are supported and implemented.

III. Qualifications and Education Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (Licensed or experienced)


• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Process and Equipment Engineering management, Manufacturing operations with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role


• Proven experience in manufacturing process control and strong knowledge of factory automation system, statistical process control, International Quality Standards (ISO, CE, RoHS, etc.) and problem-solving methods.


• Familiarity with IWS, Manufacturing Execution Systems and other operations data automation systems (software and hardware).

IV. Preferred Skills


•Technical and Engineering skills

o Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of machinery used in adhesive production, including mixers, reactors, and packaging equipment.

o Adhesive Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with formulations, curing processes, and quality control specific to adhesives.


•Managerial and organizational skills

o Project Management: Ability to lead facility upgrades, equipment installations, and process improvement projects.

o Budgeting and Cost Control: Experience managing operational budgets and capital expenditures.

o Team Leadership: Skills in supervising technicians, engineers, and contractors.


•Analytical and Problem solving skills

o Root Cause Analysis: Proficiency in identifying and resolving equipment and process issues.

o Data-Driven Decision Making: Using KPIs and maintenance data to guide improvements

o Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with production, quality, safety, and R&D teams.

o Reporting and Documentation: Clear communication of maintenance schedules, compliance reports, and project updates
