The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt of goods delivered to the supermarket. The role involves checking and verifying deliveries against purchase orders, inspecting product condition and quantity, and assisting in the proper documentation and storage of received items.
Key Responsibilities:-
Receive deliveries and check for accuracy in quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery receipts

Inspect goods for damages, expiration dates, and proper packaging

Coordinate with the Receiving Supervisor for any discrepancies or damaged items

Assist in tagging, labeling, and sorting items for storage or display

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the receiving area

Help in preparing receiving reports and documentation

Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, and other store departments as needed

Comply with standard receiving procedures and safety guidelines

Preferably College Graduate of any Business related courses.

Preferably with experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail receiving

Basic math and communication skills

Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks such as lifting and moving goods

Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
-
Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays
