Sun Savings Bank is seeking a highly driven Product Development & Project Manager to lead the creation and launch of a new, high-impact micro-loan products.

This is a critical, end-to-end management role that requires a sharp blend of strategic thinking and disciplined project execution. You won't just suggest the product—you'll own its development, manage its launch, and ensure its successful integration across the bank. Your work will directly empower small entrepreneurs and contribute significantly to the bank's retail growth strategy.

This role serves as the dedicated Project Manager for the new micro-loan product, overseeing the entire lifecycle from concept to scale.

Product Strategy & Business Case

  • Conduct deep market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and define the product's unique value proposition.
  • Develop a comprehensive business case detailing financial viability and precisely identify and define the target customer segments (sari-sari store owners).
  • Own the creation of all core product policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the bank's risk objectives and regulatory requirements.

Project Execution & Implementation

  • Lead the entire product development lifecycle, driving all project management activities to ensure successful and timely implementation.
  • Direct the design and development of the user-friendly loan application process and oversee the creation of a new, tailored credit scoring model for the target market.
  • Collaborate with and secure alignment across all key stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Operations, and external retail partners/vendors.
  • Develop comprehensive staff training materials and conduct sessions to ensure internal teams are fully prepared for the launch.

Reporting, Growth, & Partnerships

  • Provide regular, high-level progress reports and strategic recommendations directly to the President and Executive Committee.
  • Create and execute a detailed go-to-market (GTM) plan, working closely with the Marketing team on promotional campaigns and materials.
  • Negotiate agreements with retail companies and manage the seamless system integration for data exchange and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Product Sales, Management or Product Development within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Direct experience with micro-lending, SME financing, or digital loan products is highly preferred.
