The Associate Graphic Designer will be expected to have deep knowledge of best practices across platforms and a strong mastery of design principles and skills for digital and print media. At this role level, the designer will be trusted to make good design decisions, contribute to the development of design concepts, support the quality of design delivery across teams, and follow design guidelines and instructions from lead designers. This designer will work a night shift hybrid schedule, coming into the office once a month.

Responsibilities

  • Design print and digital projects that follow brand guidelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams. These assets include but are not limited to:

    • Labels and renders

    • Listing content across platforms (AMZ, WM, Target+, Shopify, iHerb, etc.)

    • Website graphics

    • Print marketing materials

    • Social media & email assets

    • Sale sheets and retail materials

  • Perform other design tasks as they arise (ex: photo manipulation, image editing)

  • Stay updated with design trends and techniques in graphic design.

  • Work seamlessly in our established processes and workflows.

  • Think creatively about new design concepts and layouts for different design projects.

  • Maintain and manage job schedules to ensure all tasks are delivered on time.

  • Record daily progress on all tasks within our task management process.

  • Accountable for completing assigned tasks and flagging the Design Production Manager when extra measures need to be taken.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in graphic designer roles

  • Impressive portfolio showcasing your design skill in eCommerce and packaging

  • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, layout, and typography

  • Creative problem-solving skills and good time management

  • Proficiency with Adobe tools (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)

  • Team player attitude with stellar communication skills

  • Clear understanding of both print and digital media

  • Amenable to work in a permanent Night Shift schedule and hybrid set-up

  • Experience in video production is a plus, but not required
