We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will play a key role in either our Data Deletion Project or our Data and Analytics Team, depending on project needs and the candidate's expertise. The Technical Business Analyst will serve as the bridge between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring the successful execution of projects related to data management, deletion, or analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and gather detailed requirements for data deletion or analytics initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Leverage analytical tools and techniques to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Technical Solution Design: Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications aligned with project goals.
  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting; ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Data Governance: Implement and maintain data governance practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations, particularly in data deletion initiatives.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides for knowledge transfer and alignment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–5 years as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in data management, deletion, or analytics projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis (3–5 years).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of data management principles including data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication abilities to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Bonus: Project management experience or familiarity with PM methodologies is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 18 months
