CAD Operator (Japanese Construction/Repair Focus)

Reno Happia BGC Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proficient CAD Operator to join our dedicated CAD team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to apply their drafting skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment focusing on building repair and renovation.

Key Responsibilities

The CAD Operator will play a vital role in translating design concepts and repair specifications into precise technical drawings and visual simulations. Duties include:

Converting hand-drawn sketches and design specifications provided into accurate digital format using ZWCAD.

Performing color simulation for existing buildings using Google Sketchup and Photoshop.

Creating detailed drawings representing the scope of steel scaffolding installation needed for repair works using the specialized Japanese software Cadvantage.

Encoding and documenting exterior wall diagnosis for repair works using Cadvantage.

Creating a 3D building model for estimation purposes using Sketchup.

Reviewing and revising existing drawings based on site feedback and design changes.

Note: Comprehensive training will be provided for the specialized Japanese software, Cadvantage.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) is essential.

A degree or certification in Computer-Aided Design, Drafting, or a related technical field.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to read, interpret, and understand complex technical drawings and blueprints.

Experience or familiarity with Sketchup and Photoshop for visualization is a plus.

Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Can work well under minimum supervision.

Willingness to learn basic Nihongo.
