Software Engineer

​​We are seeking two (2) highly motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineers to join our team. The successful candidates will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of our software applications, contributing across various stages of the development lifecycle. To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

  1. Essential Qualifications 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a focus on software development.3-5 years of experience in software development, ideally using Low Code Technology

  2. Skills and Attributes
Experience with Low Code Platforms (GeneXus experience will be an advantage).Strong understanding of the Java programming language.Proficiency in MySQL for database management and querying.Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.Familiarity with developing and consuming RESTful APIs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies.

  2. Desirable
Knowledge of SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model).Understanding of xAPI (Experience API / Tin Can API).Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Record Stores (LRS).Familiarity with version control systems.Experience with AWS hosting environments.Understanding of agile software development methodologies.

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

Assisting in the development and testing of software applications.Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code using Low Code Technology that generates Java, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.Working with MySQL databases for data storage and retrieval.Collaborating with developers and other team members to define, design, and implement new features.Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software.Participating in code reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes.Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.​​​​​​​What we offer:
