Coordinates and monitors shipboard PMS program of his assigned vessel to ensure and verify implementation in accordance with the IMS Code for the optimum performance of vessel equipment, machinery, electrical/electronic system and other cargo handling equipment, it's integrated warning/alarm system. Supervise on site ship repairs in coordination with approved contractors & ensures their optimum performance.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Marine or Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation
  • Knowledgeable in local shipping industry
  • Experience in ship management
  • Knowledgeable in 4-stroke marine diesel engines
  • A previous Chief Engineer is an advantage
  • Familiar with AutoCAD is a plus
  • Must be willing to be assigned to any area of operation
